From Neighborhood Advocates to Santa’s Little Helpers.

No, those aren't elves you're seeing. Those are the board members of Neighborhood Vitality Corp., out in the community collecting donated toys for our Neighborhood Noel Toy Drive. NVC was hosted by the Poughkeepsie Galleria on Black Friday weekend, November 28-29, where we collected toys and monetary donations donated by our fellow neighbors in the community. The monetary donations were used to purchase even more toys that same day.

NVC also informed shoppers on how we could help them with their health care needs through our patient advocacy program. Our resident literacy coach even shared information on our new Little Neighbors Jr. Book Club, a program developed to improved literacy skills in children 5-10 years of age. We thoroughly enjoyed being involved with the community. It was a great way for us to kick off the holidays!
